What to Pack

A complete checklist so you arrive trail-ready.

Tick items off as you pack — your progress is just for this visit. We send a trek-specific list on WhatsApp once you book, but this covers the essentials for any Western Ghats trek.

👟 Footwear & feet

Trekking or sports shoes with good grip (broken in, not brand new)
A spare pair of socks (and an extra dry pair for camp)
Floaters / slippers for the campsite

🧥 Clothing

Quick-dry t-shirts and track pants (avoid jeans)
A warm layer / fleece for cold mornings at altitude
A light rain jacket or poncho (essential in monsoon)
A cap or hat and a small towel

🎒 Backpack & gear

A comfortable 30–40L backpack with a rain cover
A reusable water bottle — carry at least 2 litres
A headlamp or torch with spare batteries
A power bank (charging points are limited)

🩹 Personal & medical

Personal medication + a small first-aid kit
Sunscreen, lip balm and insect / leech repellent
Hand sanitiser and a roll of tissue
Energy bars, dry fruits or quick snacks

🪪 Documents

A valid government photo ID (mandatory for permits)
Your booking confirmation
Some cash for incidentals

Valuables and heavy non-essentials you won’t use
