We get it — plans change. This policy explains what happens if you need to cancel or reschedule a trek booked with Elneeru. Because we block group transport, permits and guide slots in advance, cancellation windows are tied to your trek's departure date.
Cancellation by you
| When you cancel | Refund |
|---|---|
| More than 30 days before departure | Full refund, less payment-gateway charges |
| 7–30 days before departure | 50% of the advance amount refunded |
| Within 7 days of departure | No refund |
| No-show on departure day | No refund |
To cancel, message us on WhatsApp at +91 90082 53367 with your name and booking date. Refunds are processed to your original payment method via Razorpay within 5–7 working days.
Rescheduling
You may move your booking to another available date free of charge if you tell us at least 3 days before departure, subject to availability.
Exception — Aranya Vihaara treks. Treks that run on Karnataka Forest Department permits booked through the Aranya Vihaara portal cannot be rescheduled. Those permits are issued for one fixed date and are not transferable, so the cancellation table above applies instead. If you are not sure whether your trek is an Aranya Vihaara trek, message us on WhatsApp before you book.
Cancellation by Elneeru
Your safety comes first. If we cancel a trek due to weather, unsafe trail conditions, government restrictions or insufficient group size, you will be offered a full refund or a free reschedule to any future date. We are not liable for personal expenses (such as connecting travel) incurred outside the trek package.
Precedence of WhatsApp confirmations
Any confirmation issued in writing by Elneeru from its official WhatsApp number +91 90082 53367 in respect of a particular booking — including any refund, reschedule, waiver or exception granted under this Policy — shall be final and binding and shall prevail over the terms of this page to the extent of any inconsistency. Customers are advised to retain the relevant chat as their record of such confirmation.
