Kudremukha — literally “horse face”, for the shape of its peak — is the third-highest mountain in Karnataka and the crown of Kudremukh National Park. The trek is a green dream: undulating shola grasslands, log bridges, streams and mist that rolls in without warning. Moderate effort, unforgettable payoff.
