Overview
Netrani Island lies about 20 kilometres off the Murudeshwara coast, a heart-shaped rock ringed by some of the clearest water in mainland India. The dive runs 20 to 25 minutes with a certified guide and needs no prior experience, over coral shelves that hold parrotfish, butterflyfish and the occasional reef shark, and the underwater photos and video are shot for you. The weekend wraps the dive inside a wider coastal run: the Murudeshwara temple and its 123-foot statue on Saturday, the laterite caves at Yana on Sunday. Friday night departure from Bengaluru, small groups.
